I think I just had the best roast dinner I have ever had. Was not sure where to go to eat and have lunch, but the building looked beautiful from outside, setting inside was small and quirky and the menu looked lovely. But wow the food was just delicious, whole hearty and really tasted like the perfect home cooked meal. The service was amazing and they could not be friendly enough for everything we asked for and needed. Nothing beats an empty plate and nearly licked it, but the wife told me off

After a wet and muddy walk around the Woburn Abbey deer park we were looking for somewhere to have a restorative diet coke or cuppa, where we wouldn't feel embarrassed by our windswept hair. Longs fit the bill perfectly, with a roaring log burner, comfy seats and the cheapest diet cokes I've ever found, with a friendly barmaid. Looks and feels like a proper local.

Love this pub. The only real pub in Woburn. Plenty of parking at the rear. Traditional interior, with good lager selection. Home cooked, traditional fare menu. Friendly landlord. We always pop in, when on the localle. You can stay here too.

Stayed in the Hayloft apartment which was great foe the 5 of us rather than paying for 3 separate rooms. Lovely village, location of hotel excellent. Apartment had all we needed, kitchen well equipped tea, coffee & biscuits provided. It was clean and tidy and bed’s comfortable. Its nothing grand but for a short stay I recommend. Lovely friendly staff and a great breakfast!! Rooms were fine for our short stay and breakfast great.

Spent two nights here with the Carriage Association of America group tour of Woburn Abbey. Our hosts were so very accommodating and prepared excellent meals for the group. My room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was very conveniently situated for local shopping, which several tour members took advantage of indulging. I enjoyed sitting in the courtyard while waiting for our transportation to the stables.

I was after an inexpensive place to stay while visiting family in Milton Keynes. I found this place online and it turned out to be a good choice. Located in Woburn, a lovely town, it is an old, historic building with its own parking. You do have to go through a narrow gateway and they do warn you that spaces are a little limited. Neither of these were a problem for me. My single room was very small but very comfortable and had everything you would want for a short stay. Obviously I cannot comment on other rooms but I expect they are also of a good standard. When I next visit this will be my first choice as you would pay a lot more to find anything even a little superior (a little).

Popped in after a country walk around the Woburn estate. I had a pint of Guinness before my meal. The Guinness is perfect! Then I had the trio of roast dinner. Which was first class, especially the roast beef, that was divine, blushing pink how it should be! Well recommended if you are in the area! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating!

Had an overnight stay in Woburn last weekend. Longs provided a friendly and cosy place to stay for the night at incredible value. Highly recommended. The only small negative was that I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast that was advertised when I booked however when leaving the building at about 09.00am on a Sunday there were no staff on duty and definitely no smells of food being cooked. I guess I just picked a bad day but never mind.
